start new pack after EC?

Hi everyone. Thanks so much for everyone's help and comfort from my last post about EC. I was able to get it the next day and took it with no side effects or problems. I just had a quick question about my BC now. I took the EC on Thursday (the second pill on Friday) and my placebo week of my pills started on Wednesday. Now I had an early period (spotting?) last week so I doubt I will get my period this week (someone please correct me if I'm wrong). Regardless of this, I was wondering if when it comes time for me to start my new pack (next Wednesday) should I? I don't have to wait a certain amount of time because of the EC, correct? Thanks again! :)

I hate to tell you this, but you still could get your period this week. Not only because of the placebos but also because EC can make your next period a little wonky after you take it. I've spotted before on HBC but still got my period the next week (it was when I was first starting HBC though). It's a pain in the butt but it happens. And yes, you should start your new pack of pills as normal.
