I've been scouring Google for the past few days looking for what I might have, but I've had no real luck so far. This is kind of longish so I'll put it behind a cut.

Pelvic Pain - Similar to the pain I get when I'm ovulating. It's kind of like a pinch and it moves from side to side. I don't have any pain when I'm urinating and I don't feel tender when I press down on the area.
Itching - It feels like a yeast infection, but I have no discharge or odour. A week before my period (when the pain started) until about now I've felt very sensitive and sore.

I've been on Cipro and Biaxin for a bladder infection twice in the past two months. My doctor gave me a cream and a pill, on two separate occasions, for what he determined (without an examination) was a simple vag infection (cloud term for anything and everything with him).

I started feeling the pelvic pain a week before my last period. Both my period and ovulation were especially painful (they usually are, but this time not even Tylenol 3's helped with the pain). I'm waiting for an opening at my doctors so I can get an exam done (I haven't had one done because he does not like doing exams on girls who've never had sex). Until then I'm quite stressed out and worried about what this could be, which is why I'm posting here :P Could the pain be a cyst? Everything I've found on Google (which isn't much) points to an STD or a cyst, since I'm not sexually active (nor have I ever been) that only leaves cyst which worries me. Thanks for listening.

My advice is to go to an ob-gyn. This doctor of yours sounds unqualified and rather a quack.

the pain you describe sounds like a cyst to me, it's likely it's not related to the itching at all. Could be a mild yeast infection, if you get some acidophilus into your diet you could push the balance over to feeling 'normal' again.
