so idk if this really is appropriate for this community? but it has to do with periods, periods..you bleed from your vagina..vaginapagina..bam!

so do your boobs grow right before you start your period?

ive heard that they do then they go back to normal size after your period?

is that true?

cause my boobs within the past couple of days have grown..like a cup size..is that normal?

i have a feeling i may be pregnant, and im supposed to start my period tomorrow, so im wondering if the whole boob growing thing could be period related?

Sometimes my breasts swell like that. Not too often though. Then all shrinks back down. I don't think I've ever put on a full cup though.

if my boobs grew a cup size whenever I had my period....I'd never want to be off it! haha!!

Seriously though, mine do swell a tiny bit-and get pretty sore. But maybe it's different for everyone?

Some women experience breast swelling and tenderness before menstruation. Others don't. Either way is totally normal. For me personally, my breasts used to swell considerably before a period, and become incredibly tender to touch or movement.

That symptom has become less severe in recent years.. as I grew older I started getting less pre-menstrual breast tenderness and swelling.

If you are concerned about pregnancy, a home pregnancy test will likely be correct by now.

My breasts swell before my period - not to change a cup size but to spill over a little, I guess, of my existing bras.

However it is also a sign of pregnancy to have your breasts swell. It's common to feel like your period is coming, but with extra symptoms that are unusual, like feeling feverish or having a slight cold, or headache, nausea, or your body otherwise feeling 'different'. It sounds like you should take a home pregnancy test if you have reason to think you could be pregnant, and if you're not, get yourself on the pill and start keeping condoms near by as it is not the kind of thing you want to go through. You might think it's embarassing or too hard or too expensive, but nothing compares with the emotional effect or even cost of pregnancy.
