breasts, blood, and hickies

I've never found an actual answer to this problem. About half the time when my boyfriend gives me hickies on my breast/collarbone/neck area, he actually manages to pull up blood, there's specks of blood on the surface and he can taste it. This has never happened with anyone else, and I've never noticed a difference in suction. Could it be because of the thin skin in the area? Perhaps my anemia? Has this ever happened to anyone else.

Anemia shouldn't do that.. since your blood isn't extra thin because of it. I'm anemic and I've never had a problem with it. Maybe he's using his teeth, or sucking longer than he should? Since hickes are blood vessels breaking under the skin, kind of like a bruise, it may come through thin skin. but I'm not sure how.

i dont think drawing blood as ever happened to me, but bringing the blood up and having the specs there happens to me

I don't know, doesn't sound right to me, maybe he's just tasting your sweat? I could be wrong but I just don't see how the blood could come up through the skin without a cut.

I personally don't enjoy hickes at all, I like it better when they just bite ;)

That happened to me the other night! First time that he's ever drawn blood, and I thought it was strange. So you're not alone.

This happened to me the other day, and said boy was sufficiently freaked out, and thought that he really hurt me, seeing as he tried to give me a breasthickey, and next thing you know, I'm bleeding profusely.
