I'm late

Okay, I really hope you guys can help me out-
I stopped taking BirthContol sometime probably in late March.
Since then, my periods have been normal, I was taking the BC to regulate my periods and help with cramps. Anyways, I really can't remember the last time I got my period...probably about 2 months ago, and I think I'm late. (I'm horrid with keeping time and dates)
Anyways, I'm pretty worried.
I don't want my mum to find out, at all, so, any idea how to go about this? Whats the best tests to take? Ect.

I've been calling my doc. for a few days now and I can't get through, its pissing me off. So, all tips and help without the doc stuff, because I can't seem to get ahold of him. Oh, and without my mum finding out.
Thanks.

Were you sexually active in that time? You said you were taking bc to regulate periods but you didn't mention having sex.

If you're worried about being pregnant, than just buy a pregnancy test like EPT or First Response. Then if that doesn't ease your worries, go to the doctor.

I see you are in Ontario. Just so you know, your family doctor cannot tell your mom about anything you see him/her about. It's illegal, no matter how old you are (I think the only exception is if you've confessed to a murder or something).

I heartily recommend first response - it's what I used when I thought I was pregnant, and I was only a week late. I peed on it upside down and it still worked, so it's klutz-proof.

Also, if you are pregnant and should you choose to go that route, it may be useful to know that abortions are fully covered by OHIP in Ontario.

Ontario Health Insurance Plan - if you are a permanent resident of Ontario you have it :) You just need to show your health card.

Most walk-in clinics (at least in Manitoba) will do pregnancy tests. Additionally, there are many public and sexual health clinics that can do it for you, and since they specialize in those services, there's generally not a wait.

Of course, there's always the home pregnancy test route.

Here's a link to information on the
Region of Waterloo Sexual Health Clinic, (http://www.region.waterloo.on.ca/WEB/health.nsf/4f4813c75e78d71385256e5a0057f5e1/4d93c86408a7e5a685256b26005ab647!OpenDocument) which from your userinfo I believe is in your area.

Take some deep breaths, sweetie... I know it's scary, but soon you'll find out what's up one way or another, and then you'll either be able to have some relief, or be able to set the wheels in motion to make a choice that's right for you.

Have you been using other forms of protection?

If you're afraid that your mom will find out buy a test at the store and take it in the bathroom. I would probably test just to set my mind at east.
