Hey!  I just have two quick questions:

1.  Is it safe to use baby oil down there?  (For moisturization, not lube.)

2.  I seem to have an ingrown hair on my nipple (I pluck the few dark hairs that grow on my areolae).  I've never had one before that doesn't grow out in a couple of days, so how do I take care of this one?

Thanks!  :-D

1) I don't think so. Baby oil is not good for any part of your skin really because of the mineral oil in it. The mineral oil makes a barrier on your skin, it's icky icky stuff. Try an oil based lube, like Eros, they are for moisture down there as well.

2) Ekk if it was just around your nipple I'd say take some tweezers and dig it out but right on your nipple, OW! Ow to plucking them there too! Maybe try laying a hot wash cloth on it then try to pluck it out.

I think you meant to say Eros is silicone based.

Just out of curiousity; what could happen if one uses baby oil down there?

Ditto on the no baby oil. Mineral oil is definitely not a good thing for your cootch.

If you're talking your basic baby oil from the supermarket (ie, mineral oil- check the label)- I would say don't use it. Don't use it on your ladybits, on your skin, or on babies. It's not good stuff. Mineral oil is a refined petrochemical- lots more info HERE (http://www.dld123.com/q&a/qandatemp.php?id=Q77).
Otherwise, it would depend on the ingredients. IMO, you're best off getting a bottle of almond or soybean oil from the store and just using that. Cheap, cheerful and not likely to irritate :)

As far as the ingrown hair- a warm compress might help make it easier to extract.

I had a huge nasty ingrown on my areola recently too! It seemed like it was 4-5 days before I could see the hair well enough to dig it out. I just waited it out then went in with tweezers. It was gross looking--thank goodness no one new was seeing my boobies at the time, I would have been self-conscious!

No, don't use baby oil on girly bits. I wouldn't use anything for moisture that I wouldn't put in my mouth. Vitamin e oil works pretty well.

I've found evening primrose oil is the best thing for moisturising girl bits.
