hey, i don't think this is offtopic because i do have a vagina-ish question with it
the other day i went to schlitterbahn (texas waterpark chain things) and got completely sunburnt, from head to toe, on my front side. it's blistering and really disgusting.
i'm constantly attempting to apply as much aloe and/or solarcane as much as possible, but am wondering what i can do for my innerlegs and close to my bikini line. i'm afraid that it might like drip onto my girly bits and cause loads of problems. should i be worried? is there something else that won't give me bad effects but still soothe my burn? near those areas it is pretty much the worst because i didn't apply sunscreen properly there, so it really hurts.
thanks for any help!!!

Date: 2006-06-27 03:06 pm (UTC)lily of the valley makes a 98& aloe, and jason makes a 99%. make sure whatever you use on your bits is just aloe, and maybe some vitamin e, and you'll be good as new.

Date: 2006-06-27 03:10 pm (UTC)I wouldnt worry too much about aloe from the plant, but I tend to be wary of the bottled "aloe" products... that might be a "just me" thing.
I also googled sunburn treatments and they all had similar suggustions: stay hydrated, apply cold compresses,
http://beach.lifetips.com/cat/60319/sunburn-treatments/ had some good ideas, http://www.fitness-health.co.uk/sunburn-prevention-treatment.htm was also helpful.
Good luck!

Date: 2006-06-27 03:31 pm (UTC)so as far as i'm concerned, it should be okay... like everyone has said, as long as there isn't anything else added to the lotion that could make it uncomfortable.
also - i'm jealous of your sunburn. i don't like the winter :( x

Date: 2006-06-27 10:44 pm (UTC)White Vinegar works VERY well at relieving some of the pain from sunburns. Just soak a washcloth/paper towel in it, and set it on the areas (not sure how it would work on the lady bits) but you'll be able to feel the heat coming off your body.
Feel better!!
