So i have extream itchyness.... I thought i may have herpes but ty g-d i dont i was recently tested for all STD's an everything came out negative.. However i have a crazy ithcy spot in my pubic area, on my pubic bone where my hair grows. There are no bums or pimple looking anything. It's driving me mad, i looked at it and it swells up like as if i have a rash? Any suggestions on what it could be? My mom said it could be eczema?
thanks in advance
( btw... i will probably bombared y'll with things daily ...sorry & TY)

Date: 2006-06-24 12:23 am (UTC)You might try buying some baby wipes or feminine wipes (I like Carefree's because they come individually wrapped so I can take them with me wherever I am) after using the restroom. It's a relatively inexpensive way to rule out the things I listed above.
**I can't stand to shave but my boyfriend trims my hair with his beard trimmer on the lowest guard he has. It lasts several weeks before I really need to do it again, it takes about 5 seconds, and there's no way to hurt yourself and no painful/itchy hair growing back since it just trims the hair short, it doesn't shave it. :D

Date: 2006-06-24 01:43 am (UTC)try not to scratch. its hard but youre probably making it worse if youre touching it. eep!
use cool water on the area in the shower. no soap. dont use powder or anything after.
those are some things i do when my vulva is angry at me.
it might be just dry, irritated skin. if its bothering you for a long while you should probably go to a doctor. even if it is just dry skin, im sure they have something better to help than a drug store would.
good luck.
