Weird discharge and skipped periods?

Hello, hoping you can help me. My period normally comes every 35 days (and was meant to come yesterday). But about 3 weeks ago I got this weird...mini period thing. It was just like the very end of your period - basically darkened discharge. And about a week ago it happened again, only accompanied by mood swings, breast tenderness and bad skin, as if I was having my real period. What's going on? this sort of dark watery discharge i've been having doesn't smell funky or anything. When's my real period going to come. :(

You may wish to take a pregnancy test.
Some women have "implantation bleeding" when the fertilized egg implants itself, and some pregnant women have spotting when their period is due.

Could be ovulation spotting. When I had that (nearly every cycle), I would have discharge that was brown or almost black and my ovaries would throb. This is apparently "normal" but annoying nonetheless. If it's happening around the middleish area of your cycle, it's entirely possible that this is the culprit.
