I went 3 months without a period under the same situation you have. the gap for me was September to December 2002.

Thanks. Yeah, I had a horrible time after I stopped taking birth control pills. For the first two years I went without periods for as long as four months, and I'd be convinced I was pregnant and panicked. Since my daughter's birth, my cycle is nearing regularity the likes of which I've never know. So, the new moon's here, I'm cranky and feeling yuck and craving red meat and chocolate . . . I know it's coming, I'm just impatient at this point. I figure at least I'm talking to it, it's a start toward communication and compromise, right? ::laughs::

i went like, 4 years practically without a period. i'd have one maybe every six months, and it would be VERY heavy. that sucked. then it started to become at least sort of regular, and then i went on the pill and it got really regular. now i'm off the pill, and it's sort of regular again. pfft.
