I am now on my 4th day of my placebo week on Seasonale. I had breakthrough bleeding through most of the last three months, and now my period is not really there. I have the same amount of bleeding as I had while taking the active pills. Mostly just really dark thick nasty clots. Its a weird, nasty-smelling thing. Should I be concerned about possibly being pregnant? I mean, I am bleeding, just not any more than usual. In a way, my period hasn't shown up, but then again, its been here for months. I just recently (3 months) started having sex, so I'm a little paranoid about it. Also, I've noticed that my cervix has felt more dialated than normal for the past two weeks. It feels much softer and more open than normal. And for my third and final question, anyone have any experience with Desogen? My doctor perscribed that for me today because I don't like the Seasonale. Thanks for all the help, ladies.

As per our Big HBC FAQ (http://community.livejournal.com/vaginapagina/7325155.html), all kinds of HBC affect every woman differently... what is great for a thousand women may work badly for you, and vice versa. The only way to know if a particular brand will be good for you is to try it out, preferably for at least three months.
