Recommendations for gyns in Virginia? Preferably in the C-ville area? Much as I love my PP, if I'm getting on insurance I ought to use it for something!

I go to C'ville Family Medicine, not a gyno. They do all the fun Pap-smeary things but also can handle all your othe medical needs. I like them a lot.

You should check out this oh-so-handy member-submitted gynecologist directory that we have!

When I lived in VA, I went to Harrisonburg OB/GYN Associates (link) (http://www.harrisonburgobgyn.com/). Dr. Cathy Slusher had a very good reputation, but when I was there she wasn't taking on any new patients, so I haven't seen her myself. But she might be available now. The person I saw was the NP, Sherry Driver. She was better than anyone I've seen since--always professional, non-judgmental, and quick (which could be a good or bad thing, but I think it's good).

Your doc's office sounds wonderful! Would you mind adding her to the list of Gyns?
