Hey.
Brief history:
21, virgin (no PIV, oral, fingering, ect), not prone to UTIs or anything..
My vag itches SO MUCH. I'm pretty sure it's not a yeast infection 'cause there's no discharge (thin or otherwise, it's like it's always been) and no smell..
I think it's just little abraisions or something, trying to heal but not getting to? and they're itchy in the meantime.. like from my urethra back to my cooter and a little inside/around that area..
How can I relieve the itching until whatever it is heals? It's not unbearable but it's pretty annoying.
*waves hello to the people on her friends list who are also part of vagpag, who now know TMI about her vagina troubles*

You might also want to try some of the herbal remedies that are listed in the YI-FAQ on the vagpag site. I didn't try them, but I know other people have used them with good results.
The gyno is not that scary at all. I was only 16 when I went the first time (random out of cycle bleeding problem), and it wasn't bad at all. I think that it is highly recommended that you go see one once you either become sexually active or turn 18, whichever comes first.
I'm not positive about this, but I think that you can get them through Planned Parenthood. (Anyone else know?) I just found one through my regular doctor. In fact, some internal medicine doctors/general practicioners, including mine, will do a general gyno exam for you and could easily do a yeast test instead of sending you to a gyno.
good luck!
