My friend mincey needs to do a project for a Human Sexuality class. The project is: "collect ten articles that deal with sexuality. They can be about anything pertaining to sexuality, including cultural perspectives, gender issues, anatomy and physiology, arousal and response, love, attraction, intimacy, communication, orientations, contraception, etc." I was asked to help with this project, so instead, I hijacked it. I mean, um, I decided to post it around to help my friend out, with the poorly disguised ulterior motive of collecting such articles myself.

I'll be crossposting this around, and editing this post on my own journal with links to where else I've post it, so all the responses will be easily linked together. Anything you've got, please add on! And let me know if you cross-post this too, so I can link it all together as well. My plan is to compile these resources on my own website, eventually.

I highly recommend looking at the planned parenthood website. They have a whole section on sexuality and sexual health. (Of course, I'm a little biased, since I write for them!)

Do the articles need to be in peer-reviewed journals? If so, that is going to make it much more difficult as you'll need access to databases and whatnot. Just butting my nose in where it doesn't belong... but from my experience in college, thou shalt not cite articles that are not peer-reviewed and about empirically based research. :(

I don't know, but you might be able to link the Everyday Bodies Project done here at VP with permission. It's on the sidebar! Probably pertains to anatomy/physiology, although made to reassure everyone that everyone's bodies are different, so a little bit of sexuality too =)

Awesome! A friend of mine is trying to put on Hedwig at my school, Earlham College...but she's doing it this fall and I'm taking this year off from school. I hope she'll still do it...I feel kinda badly because I was one of the main people she was counting on the support of, but I really need to do something different from being in college this year.
