Tubal Ligation

I'm on the waiting list for a Tubal Ligation and I wondered if anyone in this commmunity had any tips, advice or experiences to share with me. I've obviously got information from the surgical/medical stand point but thought it would be nice to hear from other women who have had the procedure.

Mine wasn't that painful either. I was more woozy from the anesthesia than anything, although I would recommend taking it easy for a day or so...no champion weight-lifting or anything.
If you're on the Pill for hormone regulation purposes, remember that a tubal won't help with any of that...my doctor told me (and it's been backed up on many forums online) that that's the biggest complaint women have about the procedure. They blame the increased bleeding and cramps on their tubal, when it's really because they've stopped taking BC.

Thank you for your reply. I'm not taking any hormonal BC so I dont think that will be a new problem for me. I definitely noticed increased cramping without the pill but strangely my bleeding decreased. I think I'd almost prefer it the other way.
