Hey, I got my meningococcal meningitis shot about two weeks ago.

My cousin, who is not sexual active (btw), said it delayed her period about a week.

Is this true?

I don't remember it delaying mine when I got the shot right before I left for my freshman year of college last fall.

It definitely could, especially if she had got her shot before she ovulated during that cycle.

It's a definite physical change, which one's body could interpret as stress. I think it probably varies more from person to person, though, rather than being a definite reaction.
