could you be allergic to the condom or lube being used?

Semen makes me a little itchy sometimes.. so I have to be sure to clean it all up immediately.

Are you possibly transmitting it back and forth to each other?

Usually I get itchy too. It lasts like 5 or 10mins and goes away. I just usually clean up and pee. Maybe your allergic to the condom?

maybe you need lube. i would get itchy because of small cuts from not enough lube.

im dealing with the same thing right now! ive been itchy for about 4 days after i last had sex...we didnt used condoms or lube (im on the pill and were monogamous)...i thought it was a yeat infection too, tried monistat...still itchy. i do have a bit more discharge- its a little more watery than usual, but not chunky, no smell, nothing...what is this?!

I think itchiness can be a symptom of lowgrade irritation, and I imagine this would apply to the vagina as well. You could try using lube and see if that helps.

It is possible to be allergic to semen (though from what I understand, that usually causes a burning sensation). However, if he's coming inside you, semen changes the pH of the vagina in a way that makes it more hospitable for yeast to grow. I don't know if that's a factor, but it could be. At any rate, you could ask your doctor.

hey, I think the allergy or irritation ideas are both really good ones to check out. however if you continue to have this problem it might be worth getting treated for BV - for myself i just got itchy in the past couple of weeks, tried using monistat and diflucan first in case it was yeast, and when that didn't work, my doctor called in metronidazole without even having me come in. that seemed to pretty much fix me up (hopefully, i haven't tried having sex again yet).
