That's how I felt last week! The removal kinda wierded me out and was very messy, I thought it was hilarious and started craking up in the bathroom... ;) (blood, everywhere....) I will definitely give it another try next month though!

My own blood has never much bothered me, and I used to use my diaphragm as a catcher on light-flow days. I really like Instead.

Oh, the blood didn't bother me in the slightest... how could it? It was the awkward feeling of pulling it out that was slightly uncomfortable...

Ah. I guess I'm just used to diaphragms. (I dislike them and don't use them anymore, though. Insteads are smaller and easier.)

I don't actually pull it out most of the time. Instead (no pun intended) I just push it out with my vaginal muscles. Slightly messy, but functional. I'm all goofy over instead, but I'm biased.

yeah i have notived that at least for me it feels a little weird when i take it out. i suppose it could just be that I am very aware of it. who knows!!

I was really scared to try it cause i was afraid of how clumbsy I would have been, but now that I know that other people are having trouble and making a bloody mess (lol) then I to can try without thinking that I am handy. See I had the worst time in the world with Tampons , so i was like I am not going down this road again. I am clueless.

If I like Instead, will I like the Keeper? It'd be nice not to have to keep buying things...

What I thought was funny about the Instead cups is that, for me at least, they're the product that feels the most normal to me (normal=not on my period) when I'm using it, but is the strangest and the most dealing-directly-with-blood when I'm changing it. Entertaining contrast.

The Keeper looks as if I might notice it more... and I like the idea that sex with an Instead cup in is okay. I may just stick with Instead... hmm. Anyone tried both?
