I haven't had my period in over a month (I've been regular since I was 13, started when I was 10). My diet and exercise routine has changed(I'm weight lifting now), and I'm off the pill. I took a pregnancy test, negative. I haven't been to a doctor yet. I'm wondering if I should go next week or wait.

i started weight training recently myself, and my period was very very light. there was not any bleeding, just that brown dead blood stuff. when you weight lift, you have to eat more, because your muscles are constantly repairing themselves. otherwise, your body is using all the energy for that, and thinks it is starving. that is why ani people lose thier periods. It should even out by next month, and if you know you arent preggers, i would wait and see what happens next month, and save yourself some money. :)

I'd maybe go to the doctor if I missed my NEXT period, because home pregnancy tests can be wrong. Things is, your body functions normally when you have a certain amount of body fat. If you have been working out a lot more than normal, the chemical reactions, etc can change. I wouldn't worry about it too much right now, but I may still try to contact my doctor anyway. This has never happened to me, so I'm sorry that i can't be more help.
