I'm pretty knowledgeable about my cuntjuices, but lately I've been having a discharge that stumps me. It tastes like most of my other discharges, and smells like them too, but its the color of yellowish snot, and looks like it too.

I'm thinking maybe I'm finally hitting some stuff that's waaaaaay up in the cervix (I got a new toy, and its bigger than anything I've taken, and has a rotating head).

My vagina feels 100% A-OK, so I haven't resorted to seeing a doctor yet. Input, girls?

When you say lately, how long do you mean?

Well, cervical mucous tends to be thicker after ovulation and before your period, so if you are at around that section of your cycle, and there's no pain or difference in smell, I would say it could be that. That's happened to me.

But if it persists, call the doc!

it could have something to do with the bacteria in your vagina. like, if something was off in the balance of bacteria in there - that's what happened to me, same color, i went to the gyno and she gave me a cream to fix it. i don't know if it's fixed yet, i just finished, but yeah.

I had a yellowish/brownish discharge for awhile, and I got worried and went to the doctor. It turned out to be some old stuff that had been hanging out in there for awhile and needed to be cleaned out, so the doctor told me to douche with vinegar. If you're worried at all you might want to see your doctor, because mine told me that it could also have been bacterial vaginosis (but it wasn't, thank goodness). I also know that douching isn't always recommended, so you might want to get a doctor's advice before you try it.Ï

Sounds like bacterial vaginosis.. It's not harmful but the symptoms can get more severe if it's left untreated. Your doc or nearest planned parenthood or health dept can culture it for you and give you some metrogel or oral flagyl to take. Bv usually causes a fishy odor, but can also have no odor at all. The snot-like discharge is a classic symptom. If by chance you have an IUD, see your doc immediately.
