two tips for you: use your saliva to break down the blood (learned this in sewing class). It is really cool. the emzymes in your saliva will actually make the blood go [mostly] away.
Any time any of my lighter coloured underwear has any spotts be them blood or whatever I take them into the shower with me. The tempid water removes some of the spot and then my body soap (dove) removes the rest and if I still have something I go with peroxid. When something goes horribly wrong happens and my underies seem to get hit more than my pad i soak it in paroxid for 5 mins and poof its gone. SO peroxide is the godess of the modern cleaners.

Date: 2002-09-28 01:23 pm (UTC)i caution against it
i've had a couple
rather irritating experiences
with bleach residue
i find it helps
to rinse them in COLD water
as soon as you can
preferably before
anything dries
no hot water
it'll set the blood
