Alright I posted this in another community and i got zilch.
I've been on Celexa for about 3 weeks or so, and I am also on Alesse.
I still have one week of active pills left, which I take at the same time everyday, but I've started my period already.
Does anyone know why this might be happening?

i am on alesse. this happened to me when i lost weight and started working out lots. is your weight changing at all?

i'm losing weight but not drastically and not from working out like crazy. i think its just from the celexa.

It doesn't seem terribly likely that it's the Celexa. I'm pretty sure there aren't any interactions between Celexa and most bcp, but you could always call a pharmacist or your doctor to find out if it's possible!

celexa should have no impact on your period whatsoever.

I know that when I first started Alesse, my period started SUPER early! It got better as the months went on. Now I am well adjusted...just chubbier.

I'm also on alesse and I ALWAYS get my period early. Usually when I start the last week of active pills...I've been on it for almost 3 years and it's always been this way...I asked my gyno and she says that it's fine.
