I tried drinking an infusion of parsley today to hopefully speed up my period a bit. It's been trying to start for a few days, and I figured trying a bit of parsley tea couldn't hurt. I made it by filling my teaball with dried parsley and steeping in two cups of water for about 5 minutes. Then discovered it tasted horrible, so I threw an apple tea bag in with it, which helped tremendously. I know this has been discussed before, but has anyone had real success with this method? I'll update with my results, if any.

the way i read how to make a parsley infusion is to take a hell of alot of parsley and boil it for like 1/2 hour in 2cups of water then take two tablespoons a day. that way you get it concentrated.

Call me stupid, but...

Why exactly would this help speed up a period?

(I'm new to this parsley method.)

I don't know why it works...but I know taking a handful of parsley and steeping it for like 30 minutes in water that's been heated to boiling, makes a non-horrible tasting tea (just a bit "green" tasting, it tastes like parsley smells).

It helped with my period, I know that. I got it two days after I started drinking it, 2 cups a day, and I was quite the skeptic about it at the start.
