My husband and I are going to try to conceive in late August/early September depending on my ovulation. I have been on the pill for 6 years, and stopped taking it last week. For the next three months I will be tracking my ovulation so that we have a better chance of conceiving when we begin to try at the end of the summer.

So our dilemma for the next three months is birth control. Having the baby three months too soon would mean having to sit out a semester of school, and I just can't do that. As since I'm not sure of my ovulation schedule yet, FAM is going to be hard to do right now. So, I'm leaning towards contraceptive foam. I've read up on it, and it seems like the best bet. It's only about 80% effective, but we're also going to use the old fashion withdrawal method as well (also 80% effective). Condoms irritate me and my husband, so we'd like to avoid them if possible.

So, feed back on the foam? Any other advice?

Thanks!

Oh you're right (sorry about that). If you google "Today Sponge" it will take you to some links. In fact the very first one on google is a pharmacy that sells them online. And the sponsored links on the right will have other pharmacies that will ship them to you as well. They cost (at the cheapest websites) about $3 each. They are worth it.
