that shows you how much i know about the whole 69 thing.

so my boyfriend has told me a couple of times that he'd really love to 69 with me. and my response is "oh.. that's... nice...?"

i'm kind of uncomfortable with the idea. i have no problem going down on him. but it did take a while before i was comfortable with the idea of him jamming his face in my cunt. just because i was afraid it'd be weird or smelly or sick tasting etc etc etc. but i finally let him and it was great. i'm still a little self-concious but i'm getting better.

well now he wants to do this. and i want to be able to do it with him because i love him and care about him yadda yadda all that crap. but i'm really uncomfortable with the idea of my ass being in his face.

Well I went through the same thing with Marc. It really isn't bad at all, and I wouldn't worry about your butt being in his face. The guy probably won't make fun of you, and I don't think you're crack will smell. My bf has yet to complain about it. It feels wonderful. It might be a little too hard to focus on him when it feels really good though ;p. I just say take it slow. You don't have to 6 if you don't want To, but just know that both of you guys can enjoy it :) good luck

I never really thought about him being able to see my asshole.
just don't sit on his face, and make him pull you down if need be.
It [sixtynining] was kind of gross for me at first, but eventually, I came to love it.

Don't feel pressured, or anything, but if he though you were smelly/sick tasting/etc...I don't think he would want to "jam his face up there".

I always have to shower before it - just because I'm obsessive like that. I'm really short, and he's pretty tall, so sometimes I find it hard to get a comfortable position, but once we get it, it works.

Actually, in a 69 position, I've always found that my partner's nose is much closer to the vaginal canal than it is to the anus, so if he's going to be smelling anything, it would have to be l'eau du vulva.

If you're really self-conscious about your butt, what you can do is have him elevate his head on a few pillows and then sort of straddle his face so that your clit rests on his mouth. Because you'd be in a bit more of a 'hands-and-knees' position, your butthole will be facing out instead of down, and he'll be less likely to be able to even see it.

Since no one's mentioned it I will go out on a limb here and suggest the side lying position. I saw it in a book and it appears quite suitable for such activities because each person lies on the other's inner thigh in a pillow like fasion, and thus there's no "crushing" action by either person, nor does the position seem to favor a back door view.

We've tried it with him on top, me on top, in a chair, on our sides (and I have to have one leg up in the air for that, which makes it even more awkward)... We're both kind of chubby and there's a moderate height difference, so maybe that might have something to do with it. I don't know.

Even if we find a position that's not totally uncomfortable, it's like watching a movie and listening to the radio at the same time-- there's too much going on at once to focus on either.

Hm. Try lying on your sides with your legs spread, rather than on on top of the other. Hard to describe but this way the view should be pretty much all vagina/clit and no butthole. That's the way my ex boyfriend and I always used to do it.
