Skipping the Pill

In July my one year anniversary falls on a day I have my period. I am on Alesse 21 and I want to skip my period so I can have sex on that day. Now I know that to skip it I should just start the next pack of pills when I finish the last one. So if I take the pills right when I finish my last pack, so I just wanted to know once i'm done with the second pack do I just wait a week without them like normal then on the sunday start a new pack like I'd normally would? If that didn't make sense let me know and I'll clarify. Thanks!

after you start the second pack, just keep taking them like you normally would. the only changes is that you started that pack a week earlier.

so then i'd still get my period when i'm not taking the pills?

just take the next pack like normal once you start it. you'll get your period a week earlier from now on (at least until/if you decide to skip another period). it's the drop in hormones when you don't take the pill that causes your period to start (it's also a drop in hormones that causes your period when you're not on the pill).
