ow ow ow ow ow damn you DivaCup!

so i got my DivaCup last night and tried to use it this morning. and the damn thing nearly ripped me up! it was so weird. i'm not a virgin but for some reason i couldn't get it inside of me and the cup popped back open before it was all the way in and whatever might have been left of my hymen is ruined. i tried a couple of times and it hurt too much so i gave up for the time being. i don't know how to get the stupid thing in and it hurts. i was so excited to use it. and then it hurt my vag!

does anyone have any ideas as to how i can get the stupid thing in??

i also bought sea sponges and those things are way bigger than i thought...

Welll, I personally tried the instead cups, thinking that if they worked like the everyone says they do, I'd get a diva. BUT--my vagina is too damned small. Literally. It's too small. Go figure. *shrug*

well its like honestly, it's smaller than my boyfriend's penis. you'd think it wouldn't be a problem. but maybe i'm psyching myself out or something... plus penises are just easier to insert i guess.

Wow. See, I've never had any problems with sex. And I never noticed how small it is, until I got the insteads. And...it sucks, because I love the idea of them. Maybe it's like trying to use tampons at 13--you just gotta relax and breathe.

Instead cups are a COMPLETELY different shape from the DivaCup, and sit in a different position as well. I've never gotten Insteads to work for me, but I don't really have problems with the DivaCup. (If you've got the extra cash sitting around for it, I would recommend trying it....you've got 12 months to send it back if you can't manage to get it to work for you.)
