i finally picked up some cloth pads today and i really like them. i am thinking of making my own thin ones because i need to wear liners every day.

is it normal to have a discharge everyday? my doctor told me that as long as it's clear, etc. (we all know the drill) that i'm fine. but i would like to know if this is common. it's not very much, but it is something i worry about.

before going on BC, i used to have a lot of discharge. i'd always need to wipe my undies when going to the bathroom. at the time i didn't know it was normal, and felt really poorly about myself (as though i was dirty or something), not to mention it was a little uncomfortable. i started to wear liners a bit, but didn't like them. i went on BC shortly after, so never got a chance to try out cloth ones. they may be more comfortable.

good luck.

If you are looking for cloth pantiliners I would really recommend that you try

www.tlc-pads.com

I have just purchased some beautiful liners for everyday use from this site. They are amazing quality and really reasonably priced.

yay for cloth pads! i'm enjoying mine immensely, especially when i happen to be bleeding on my days off and can take the extra time/care to use them.

um...as far as i know discharge is totally normal, it might be whitish when you're ovulating...

Meh. NO LOVE for discharge.

I have a SHITLOAD of discharge every freakin' day. And it's stinky. So I went to the doctor thinking maybe I had bacterial vaginonsis, but no such luck. I just have a wet, stinky pussy. *Grumbles* And my discharge is almost ALWAYS white...occasionally (I think it's when I'm ovulating) it'll be kinda like egg whites- clear and stringy.

Discharge is totally normal! It's usually clear but can change in texture and color when you ovulate.

If it's something that bothers you, you could try wearing panty liners and see if that helps.

Here's a really short blurb about it from tampax.com that might make you feel better: http://www.tampax.com/en_us/pages/wmn_main.shtml?pageid=ar0034

I don't blame you -- some days are like that for me. It's no fun, but I suppose it's better than the alternative.

I know some people use powders and stuff. Have you tried that?

discharge is normal and healthy. it's your vagina cleaning itself. the lack of it would indicate a serious problem.
i would recommend not using panty liners for it because they are a definite way to promote as much growth of yeast infections as possible. just a hint.

My ex-girlfriend was always wet. It was clear. I think it's really common and totally normal to be super wet all the time. Plus, it can be useful!
