I have a bump on my bikini line a little smaller than a dime. The bump is from underneath my skin and it hurts. It doesn't itch or bleed or anything. Its just a bumpy bruise. It was small at first, and I squeezed it all the time thinking it was just some ingrown hairs. Just a small amount of white stuff came out, not pus. I think it might have gotten bruised from squeezing. I am very frustrated because it won't go away. I have no other problems that I know of. No itching, not abnormal discharge, its just that annoying little bump on my bikini line. I do shave, so it might be related to that, but hair doesn't grow on it anymore. Please, if you have any idea what it could be, leave me a comment. Thanx.

i would suggest placing a warm compress (like washcloth) on the area for a while. it may allow for whatever's stuck in there to surface. it could be a blocked follicle or really deep ingrown. i've had both. and no more squeezing! -=]

It sounds a bit like a sebaceous cyst. I used to get a lot on my ear lobes, and I've had one on my outer vulva. (I get a different kind of cyst more chronically on my inner vulva.)

When's your next gynecology appt? It doesn't sound like an emergency, but you might want to get it diagnosed for sure. In the mean time, use warm compresses, squeeze it gently if you want to (don't bruise it), and don't worry about it.

it sounds like a cyst to me, as well. With my cysts I always massage it two or three times a day (weird sounding, I know) to break up whatever is under the skin. This seems to help.

Its actually a picture of a grafitti I saw on a wall when I went to Brazil. I thought he was a pretty interesting looking dude. The words beside him say "Don't close your eyes to the misery" in portuguese.
