Hi everyone, my name's Vanessa and I just joined this community. At first I thought it would be something pornographic but thankfully it's not. i've tried the shower method, and it just didn't do it for me. it could be that that isn't your thing. you should try other things, like fingers where you can adjust the pressure, or if you're uncomfortable with that you could try holding a pillow between your legs and rubbing against it. different things work for different people. some people can have an orgasm just by thinking about it for long enough. maybe you're one of them! try it out.

It sounds as though you have a good start on getting over the repression of your upbringing- simply by aknowledging the fact and having a desire to get over it is a positive step.
