Normally during my period, the flow isn't that heavy. But this month it's super heavy and it's making me nervous. The only difference might be that right before it, I got a yeast infection and didn't treat it yet (because I got my period).

Otherwise, I'm on Ortho-Tri Lo and concerned.

could it be possible that you still have a yeast infection, and it just seems super heavy because it's a mix of your period and discharge from the yeast infection?

(btw, you can certainly treat a yeast infection during your period. lots of people do - i believe we're more prone to them in the time period before our period, so treatment often overlaps with the actual period. that said, sometimes having your period clears out the yeast infection on its own - so you're certainly not hurting anything by waiting.)
