haha, I totally understand the sandpaper thing.
I am menstrating, and the damn tampons make me so dry, but I am still horny as hell, so yesterday I just go yanking it out, and humping away, no lube (duh)
So today along with the bleeding and cramping of Aunt Flo, I have all these little irritated splits. I was being a total bitch earilier and Hunnie says "I don't know why you have to be such a crank"(note: he is almost never like that, but I was really being terrible) And I replied "Well why don't you bleed out your cock each month and then split it open when you have sex to bleed some more, asshole!?" Then we went swimming and went out to dinner. All better. Whoo, gotta love hormones!

I am really pondering that thing. I want it, but I'm scared at the same time for a couple of reasons 1) we live on a tight budget, 35 bucks would be missed (although at 5 bucks a box for tampons, it will add up, I know) 2) I am fairly small in my nether reigions, tampons can even be difficult to wedge in there, and most of the time they wind up sideways, soooo, I don't want to pay all that money for it not to work or for me to be in total pain when using it.
But believe me, I have been thinking about it, I bookmarked the page after I learned about it in here. Txs bobbie! (haha) ~ JR

I use sea sponges, which can be found at jadeandpearl.com. They are way more comfortable and less drying than tampons, and I suspect they are easier to insert and everything than the Keeper (though I've never used it myself). They cost something like $8 for two sponges, and each sponge can be used for around 6 cycles. You just wet them, squeeze them out, and put them in. Then you take them out and rinse them every few hours and you can put them right back in (you soak them overnight in vinegar and water, baking soda and water, or peroxide and water overnight to disinfect them). I'm pretty small too, but they fit me comfortably. Just in case this is helpful to you. :)

That sounds great. Do they hold back your flow enough? Even tampons leak I know, so I always wear a panty liner, would that be enough you think? How often do you have to change them? I work in cosmetics, and we sell packages of natural sea sponges, they are just a little larger than a peach pit maybe. Not quite the size of a golf ball. Is this what yours are like? I'm way curious now, cause this sounds good! ~ Jessica
