Arrrrrrr...I took the blood pregnancy test to see if I had miscarriaged, I called my gyno for the test results, and she said:

"We've just got the preliminary test results right now, which showed that you had a standard organism growing in your vagina. I'll let you know when we get the full results."

...standard organism?

Like a baby?

Or...a monster?

A kitten?

WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?????

I'm not so sure that a kitten in common in a human uterus, but I would have to say that a monster is even less common.

Maybe a puppy? I've heard of dog-people? :)

If she said it was growing in your vagina, then she may have meant some sort of infection. I'd seriously worry about her education level if she did mean that you were pregnant (with whatever :).

Well, it was just a weird response, because I was asking about whether my tests had showed that I'd miscarried or not...and she answered with that.

This is the same woman that told me that HIV and AIDS were the same thing though...hmm...

So standard organism could possibly translate to baby.

I was thinking this too. The doc couldn't mean a baby.. because babies don't grow in vaginas.
How totally strange!
Please post a follow-up and let us know what the doctor was talking about, I'm intrigued.

Awww! I used to have a kitten that looked just like that, named Whisper. He was feral though...and kind of crazy.

He used to go into the trash can, pull out used pads, and then deposit them at people's feet. Guest, father, he made no distinction.

My cats used to do that with my tampons (couldn't flush 'em, septic system), back when I used tampons. It was incredibly embarassing when I was about twelve.

kittens are nice, i very much enjoy being a kitten mommy, my 3 are adopted and very sweet, i am hoping you have kittens (and that you get a new gyn)
