Okay, I'm not very knowledged about sex and even making out for that fact. My boyfriend fingered me awhile ago and it hurt really bad. I made him slow down... and later it just didn't hurt. I know it hurt because I was tight... and I guess he really 'broke me in'. Did he pop my cherry though? I think he did but I really don't know how likely that is? I feel really dumb for asking that though. Since then, a lot more has happened though.. but I was really wondering about that? Or if I still have got that to come?

Anything put inside of you (fingers, tampons etc) can "pop your cherry" and considering the pain, I'd say thats what happened.

That's what I heard... but it never hurt when I used tampons? So, does it not always hurt to have your 'cherry popped'?

Well considering the size of a tampon to the size of a guy's finger or penis.. tearing the hymen with the tampon probably wouldn't hurt that much (although putting a tampon in for the first time for me, sucked.)

I thought "pop your cherry" was slang for losing your virginity...but apparently I might be wrong. :)

technically it refers to breaking the hymen, which can result in blood, hence "cherry" ... but of course we know that any other number of activities can stretch or break a hymen...

to the OP, it sounds like maybe he tore it, yes... it probably also hurt if you were tense or not turned on enough... make sure he goes at your pace and not his :)

Your hymen may not have been intact anymore before he started fingering you. Some girls break their hymens doing some sort of non-sexual physical activity (bike riding, gymnastics, etc.) or it can be broken by tampons, fingers, etc.

You are aware of the fact that hymen is at the entrance of the vagina, right? It would make it pretty hard for him to penetrate you with his fingers without damaging that (if it was still there).

Anyway, that may be the reason you were hurt. Or, it could have just been too much friction on your vaginal walls if you were too dry or tense.

That could be why it hurt. Also, if you are tense or nervous, it will hurt significantly more.

See, I thought about that... but I really wasn't and I was excited, so it wasn't like I wasn't in the mood. And it wasn't my first time either... I just think this time because of our positions, he really got in maybe? I don't know though.
