so two weekends ago, i had sex and the condom came off. he hadn't ejaculated, but i'm not on birth control pills for a number of reasons, and so i went to a clinic and got morning-after pills (levlite) just in case.

now, my period has started a week early, and it's much lighter than usual -- i haven't had any of the more globby bits that usually come out of me on the first few days. if anything, i would have thought that my period should be heavier.

so, has anyone heard of this happening? should i be worried? it occurred to me that this could be the spotting that they warned me about, but it's been going for several days and there has consistently been at least some blood.

anyone have any insight on this?

no, everything is alright :) a couple of months ago, i had a similar situation happen to me and it's normal. your period might be alittle weird for this period, and possible the next, and they might happen out of sync, but not to worry, everything should work out sooner or later.

EC will screw with your cycles and your body - its a huge dose of hormones, and makes things wonky for a while. Bear with it, and recognize that it will likely be strange and unpredictible for a while.

The same thing happened to me. My doctor warned me about it first. Nothing to worry about! :)

yes, your first period will come earlier and lighter and then the next one will be late and heavier. my second was almost a month late.
