Jun. 9th, 2002 10:47 pmHi everyone. I just joined, and already I have a question for the vagina-lovin' masses:
Has anyone ever had an adverse reaction to Midol? As per usual, I started my period with cramps that were ouchy, but not crippling. My roommie suggested I take some Midol since she absolutely adores it, and within a half hour of taking a pill (I only took one, since my cramps weren't that bad), I was in hell. It was like my uterine lining was shedding double-time-- blood clots like crazy. And oh the pain! I felt lightheaded, nauseous, dehyrated, and just plain in agony. The pain wore off after about four hours, and now I am back to the cramps I started out with.
I am baffled that this product would have such an ill effect on my body. Has anyone ever experienced anything like this?
