I bought two fantastic books the other day...
"Cunt" by Inga Muscio, and "The Vagina Monologues" by Eve Ensler.
Both are amazing. Empowering. I LOVE them.
Good buys.
Highly recommended.
I read both in a matter of hours. Couldn't put 'em down.

One of my favorite parts of Cunt:
" One never hears of sanitary jockstraps, deodorant condoms, perfumed Hershey-Squirt protection pads or hygienic ball wipes, whereas I've heard tell of need for such products"

Yeah! Ever go down on a guy and he has swamp balls? There you go! Why haven't any women thought up an idea for ACTUAL ball wipes? Damn! I think we have a patent brewing!

Ahhh, I feel so much better after reading these books. My feminist instincts are once again coming out of my pores. Just like back in high school.

ok, i'm gonna brag here. inga came to speak at my school about two months ago. as luck would have it, i got my first yeast infection days before she came. at first i was in denial of it. then i wanted to give my cunt to anyone who would take it from me. well, on the day she came, i ended up going to the er. my lips were all swollen and i was in massive pain. i probably had an allergic reaction to the 1 day otc i tried to use. well, i went straight from the er to a potluck dinner with inga and womyn's action group, the campus feminsit org sponsering the whole event. i show up, and tell my story. she felt so sad for me. she told me how to cure it, and made my friend take me to the grocery store. during her talk, i was sitting in the front row on a pillow. when she got offstage and everyone was getting up, she asked me if i was doing ok. and then, i had her sign my book and write the recipe for curing my cunt in the book. whatta you know, she cured me. the cunt goddess cured my cunt. she was every bit as cool and wonderful as you'd expect her to be. i love inga muscio.
