Hello my Twatriffic Cunt-Lovin women!!

This is a post to tell everyone that this is a forum about Vaginas. Please do not post off-topic posts in our forum. We will delete them as soon as they are found. There are plenty of other communities within LJ or online that can help with a variety of issues.

Though we'd like to help ALL women with ALL issues, our focus is vaginas. Please do not violate these rules, and should you have a question about whether or not a post is relevant email any of the admins and ask before posting.

I hope this is not in response to the grrrl who posted about being bulimic. Be happy that the grrrl felt comfortable posting somewhere...i hope that she receives help and it did not hurt me to read her post. It is not like she got on here and posted about pudding or something. It was a relevant issue. Your image of yourself can have a great deal to do with your sexuality. However, i agree that the posts should be on topic, but dont throw that in the face of someone who is reaching out for help..I thought that the whole purpose of this community was to help and learn from each other. As I said, I love this community the most, i am just throwing in my 2 cents.

I am glad that any woman feels comfortable posting in our community, no matter the topic.

I understand that it did not hurt you to read her post. I also understand that there are people who may be uncomfortable reading such posts when they are looking for information on vaginas.

VaginaPagina has gone above and beyond for it's members, and will continue to do so in the future. Unfortunately, in order to keep this a thriving community where women feel safe to discuss vaginal issues, guidlelines must be set, and rules must be reminded when they are broken.

I have not, nor would ever throw anything in the face of one of our members, but instead she was lead by other memebers to communities that might be able to provide her more information, and comfort for her issue.

We are here to help women on their vaginal issues. If a woman comes to us with alternate issues, we can most certianly help her find the right place to provide her with the most thorough information as possible.

At the same time that we want to help women, we do not want to have them drop this community because the posts 'have nothing to do with vaginas'.

Thank you for your input, but I encourage you to understand the reason behind the deletion of off-topic posts. It is not because we are insenstive to other bodily issues, but that we have dedicated this community and a lot of our personal time to specifically vaginal issues.

I posted recently a question based around the Pill. I had seen many other post reference birth control in their posts, so I thought I would give my question a try. Not only have I received no responses while others have received many, I am wondering if it is really off topic, and people are boycotting it for that reason. Please let me know if it is just not a well known issue, if it's off-topic and I need to delete it, or where I could go where someone might reply. Thanks so much,

The Pill defintely is on topic. If you do not recieve any responses to your post, merely repost it and add something to top such as

"I didn't recieve any responses on my last post, so I'm asking you to please respond to this one. :)"

Most of the time when people don't respond it's not because the post in itself is off topic, its usually because the issue has been covered so many times, or realistically speaking, it all depends on the time you post it. Think about it. Some people read their friends list, and the post may have already gone by, or they may not be reading it yet. Don't give up baby girl, and I will take it upon myself to go back and read up on it and respond.

In additon, dont forget our website VaginaPagina (http://www.vaginapagina.com) where you will find a lot of questions that have been posted before, that tons of women have responded to.

You're wanted here and so are your questions. :)
