Hello Superstars!
Mom my has a UTI she started peeing blood this morning. (She is going to the doctor tomorrow morning even if I have to DRAG her there.) Anyway she is absolutely convinced that she got it from drinking the tap water at work. The tap water is not monitor by the city so who knows if it is contaminated with something.

I can't find any thing on Google saying she would get a UTI from drinking bad water. I don't think it's possible

What do you think? Any sources saying one way or the other would be helpful.

Sorry if this is probably very TMI, but I've never experienced anything like this before, so just wondering what could be causing it really or if it's anything to worry about.

I was getting in the bath earlier and I noticed I have a lot of discharge, and by a lot, I mean there were big globs of it. I couldn't feel it coming out or being in my underwear, and I probably wouldn't even have noticed it if it wasn't for going in the bath. It was thick and stretchy and basically looked like snot.

After doing some googling people say that mucus like discharge is common when ovulating, but my period only finished a week ago, so I'm doubtful this is the reason. I was also suffering from quite a bad cold last week and developed some flu like symptoms (aching, chills, feeling hot & cold) last night, so I'm not sure if perhaps the discharge could be linked to this.

It is possible I could be pregnant, however very unlikely. I had sex a couple of times whilst I was on my period and once after it finished. I've been with my boyfriend for almost 2 years and we don't use any contraception other than the pull out method, neither of us have STDs so that's not really a worry, plus the discharge is completely odourless and doesn't burn or itch or anything.

Basically just looking for people who have experienced anything similar and can reassure me that it's not something to worry about or give me an indication of why it might be happening!

Hi, I posted this here a few weeks ago: http://vaginapagina.livejournal.com/20588138.html

"Hi, I have been having a weird problem and I'm just looking for some ideas on what could be causing this... For the last week or two, sex has been painful. It's a slight burning feeling on the inside whenever I try to have sex. A couple days ago, I started getting a light brown mixed with clear discharge. These are really my only symptoms -- no itching or anything. Usually I would assume brown discharge = spotting or period starting, but my periods are pretty regular and it shouldn't be coming until around February 10. Also, I have a Paragard, so if my period were on its way, I would know, because of the cramps.

Any idea what this could be?"

I ended up going to the ER just to be safe, because I was feeling light-headed and weak, and I was worried it might have been an ectopic pregnancy, but they told me it was just irregular bleeding after doing an ultrasound. I think I also have had a yeast infection off and on for a while now because sex has been painful. I went to the doctor this Wednesday and got some cream for yeast so hopefully that helps.

However, I still have not gotten my regular period, and according to my calender I'm about 10 days late. I've been getting cramps, though, without any bleeding. One night about 2 weeks ago I had such bad cramps out of nowhere that I was crying and writhing in pain, and then after using a heating pad for a while, they completely went away after maybe an hour of pain. Since then I've been getting a couple bad cramps every day, that last for about a minute and then go away. It seems weird that I had spotting without cramps mid-cycle, and now I am having cramps without bleeding when I should have had my period already. Can anyone tell me what's going on? Is this normal?
