Hello superstars :)

I took a plan b pill about two months ago. I had my period about on time and it was heavy and painful :/ It ended on January second. Yesterday my boyfriend and I were um, fooling around on the couch. Maybe he scratched me when he had is fingers inside me lol. The point is, I had brown blood all on my underwear about an hour later, and I thought maybe it was just an early period. (Would have only been 14 days since my last one) So I put a pad on and went to bed. I woke up with just a faint amount of brown and no blood, even still. I'm worried, we never had unprotected sex. Anybody know what this could be?

I had a DELIGHTFUL yeast infection last week, which I treated with hydrogen peroxide as I had in the past.  I currently use a NuvaRing.  I took it out when I douched and kept it out for ten-fifteen minutes afterward until everything "soaked up".  I know hydrogen peroxide is normally occurring in a vagina, but I'm not sure if I "killed" it.  That's why I kept it out, waited for it to absorb.

I called the company and they suggested I use alternative protection, just in case.  I'm cool with that, but I started spotting and I'm curious if that has something to do with the hydrogen peroxide killing the ring or because I took it out ten minutes a day for five days.  I just had my period, I don't want it again!  Plus, if the ring is dead, I don't want to be off it an entire month.  I had terrible spotting for three months when I first put it in two years ago.  I'd like to not relive that!

Anyone insight or experience with this would be appreciated!!

Hello Superstars!

Couple of things.

1. SO glad this community is here! A couple months ago I mad a post here about an assault I suffered 8 years ago while I was mid breakdown. Thanks to the wonderful support this community offers I am now seeking counseling for it through WOAR. <3

2. My girlie bits are confusing me. I track my cycles pretty religiously on mymonthlycycles.com, and have been since the beginning of october. I know it's only been a few months, but so far I've been pretty regular with a 34-36 day cycle. When my chart says I'm due to start bleeding I start bleeding. So here I am 3 and 1/2 days late, NO symptoms of any kind. My typical period symptoms are mild cramping day of or day before. So far, nothing. At all. The outside of my vag feels a bit dry and slightly itchy, but not like yeast infection itchy, and there is a little bit of a creamy white discharge.

I had sex with my husband the day that mymonthlycylces said I would ovulate. Since I haven't been tracking my ovulation at all, and am going with a standard 14 day luteal phase, it could be off by a few days. I'm not on birth control and we didn't use protection. He came inside me.

So I'm thinking pregnancy? Possibly. I will be taking a test the end of the week if my period doesn't start. I just want to wait a week and see if it starts or see if there might be something else going on. I am extremely doubtful that it is an anovulatory cycle as I'm quite positive I had one several months ago (I think Sept).

Which is more likely? An extra long cycle or pregnancy? Or are they about equal?

Is there a way to not feel paranoid about getting pregnant when you don't get your period/it's totally irregular, while breastfeeding? I'm not even three months postpartum, so I know it's normal for it be this way, but seriously, I don't know how to not worry about it! I don't plan on getting pregnant again for a few years and I don't want to any time soon. Right now I am using a diaphragm with spermicide as birth control, but am considering getting a Mirena - I've just had bad experiences with HBC in the past, so I'm wary of it. Anyway, I guess I just want to hear how other people deal with not getting a period when trying to avoid pregnancy. I'd actually prefer to get it just to know I'm safe.

I'm just coming off of a very light period, and its lightness is concerning me. I lost a decent amount of blood the first day and had cramps, and then the bleeding tapered off steeply. I barely bled at all on the third day, and not at all on the fourth or fifth. I typically have painful and heavy periods that last about five days, though I have had a few periods in the past year that have been milder in terms of blood loss and cramps (I'm 23 and my periods seem to be downshifting after several years of steadily worsening pain and bleeding). My period arrived right when I expected it. It was preceded by a few days of cramps, and the usual PMS, though a few days before my period started, I ran a high fever all day for no obvious reason (I tend to get sick often - my immune system seems to be made of flypaper, but did not get sick... just had a fever).

My only thought about why my period might have been so much lighter is that I've been taken women's multi-vitamins every day this past cycle in an attempt to reduce my cramps (I've heard that vitamin E, the B vitamins, magnesium, and calcium can help reduce cramps). Usually, I don't remember to take vitamins at all, and my body tends toward anemia and vitamin-B deficiency. Could dramatically increasing vitamin and calcium intake reduce my total bleeding as well?

Pregnancy is possible but unlikely (condoms used religiously during fertile window, withdrawal once I was a week away from my period), but I can't help but worry about it and wonder if I should test. I ovulated on day 14-15, and started relying on withdrawal after day 22.

Im really super sorry if I may seem paranoid for those who answered my previous question already. My bf and I had unprotected sex on day of my period however he pulled it out after around 5 minutes, way before he came. After that day, we always used a condom. Today, on day 14 of my usually 35-40 day cycle, ive been experiencing sore breasts. Not really super sore but still kinda sore. Im having back problems (which I had before already) and kinda sleepy. I dont know if the sore breasts were a result from my recent exercises with no bra support. And also if it's because ive been taking extra doses of caffeine coz it's our finals. What do you guys think?

I've always had regular periods, until recently. I was on the pill, had a normal period August, nothing September, period October, and then nothing since. I mentioned it to my doctor who basically told me that any amount of brown blood when I wiped counted as a period (I haven't had any spotting) and that most women appreciate not having periods (time to find a new doctor). I know they're just withdrawal bleeds but I'd rather have them. The fact that this is happening now when I've been on the pill for a few years is strange. There's no way I'm pregnant (no sex recently), and I haven't had any major changes/ stress in my life.

When do lack of periods become a concern? I stopped taking the BC to see if that was causing it when I finished my pack in December but I should have had a period by now. I've stopped in the past and had a period 30ish days later. I don't know if I've even ovulated yet so I have no idea if/when I'm going to have this period. Any ideas? Thanks

I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on the different types of kegel balls out on the market? I was going to go with the ones from the good vibrations website but do not remember which brand they where and it seems they no longer carry the ones i originally looked at but have a different brand. Are they all pretty much the same?

For information, i am 26 years old, NOT a virgin but have not been sexual active in about 2 years. I'v read these types of facts matter when choosing between brands perhaps?

Thank you for any advice.
