Hey beautiful people!

So, my doctor doesn't open their offices until monday but I already have an appointment lined up... thing is I am in PAIN. I think I have some kind of infection and it's making me miserable =( I have sort of greenish but mostly yellow discharge, there is no cottage cheese like discharge so I am guessing it's not Yeast. I do itch and burn a LOT though like this morning I got up to pee (which is oddly NOT painful) and had a hard time getting back to sleep because of the itching and burning. My boyfriend also noticed a little bit of swelling but he said it was not something he'd notice right away. I am in an strictly monogamous relationship but I've been known to get infections even when NOT in a relationship or having sex. So... what does it sound like to you and what can I do to hang in there until my doc's appointment?

THANK YOUUU!

Basically, I've been on antibiotics off and on for a few weeks and I have a persistent yeast infection. My problem is that I have to take antibiotics for the next 2 1/2 weeks and I'd really like to get rid of this thing, if possible. I've read about treating YIs with boric acid on VP and other places and I wanted to try that. I special ordered boric acid from my Target pharmacy and they said it was safe to use, but I don't really trust the people that work there. It's a Humco product that's Granular NF and it has no information about its concentration. I've looked at similar products online that say their concentration is 100% so I'm worried about putting this in my body.  I know that the recommended concentration is 2% or less.

Does anyone else have experience with this product? Is it safe to use?
Should I look for gel caps to make a suppository? Or is it safer to dilute the granules with water and soak a tampon in the solution?

I've looked everywhere for an answer to this question and though most of the information I can find like the Humco Material Safety Data Sheet  makes me think it's safe, I'm just looking for a more conclusive answer.

Hi everyone!

About a week ago I wrote a post about potentially having genital herpes. The good news is I don't! The bad news is I have a nasty YI. They prescribed me the pill and told me if symptoms don't clear up in a week to take the pill again. But they said no sex for a week after taking a pill. The only problem is my birthday is on Tuesday and I know my boyfriend is going to treat me to a special night Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday and I really want that to include sex! He's been away on a business trip for the last two weeks so he doesn't even know I had a YI and I don't feel like bothering him with it anyway. We're still a pretty new couple.

Everything was great until the symptoms started coming back today! So my question is, how do I get rid of this darn YI? Should I take something over the counter ? But then how long do I have to wait to have sex? Should I take the second pill 2 days early? Can I have sex early or is it really a big no-no? Please help!
