Hello! About 2 weeks ago I finished taking my prescription of anti-biotics for a boil on my stomach…since then I feel like my vagina is all out of whack.  And I think the anti-biotics are to blame. I was taking doxycycline.

Lately I’ve been having this really strong odor down there…it’s not fishy at all. At the risk of sounding disgusting, it smells more like feces or pus (the only reason I know what pus smells like is from that boil I just got rid of) and it’s really distracting. I’ve also been having a lot of clear discharge lately, like whenever I stand up after sitting for a while I can feel it “pouring” (for lack of a better phrase) out of me, kind of like the feeling when you're on your period and whenever you first get out of bed and stand up in the morning. Nothing down there is itching, burning, painful, or out of the ordinary aside from the smell. I don't think it' YI because it's not itchy and there is no "cottage cheese" discharge and I don't think it's BV because it doesn't smell fishy and it doesn't burn...given I've never had either, but it's just from what I've read about it.

Now, I’m vegan and I eat really healthy and drink a lot of water so I usually don’t have a strong (if any) smell down there…that’s why it’s so weird to me. At first, I thought it was because I switched to a different brand of vegan multi-vitamins but after switching back to my old ones it’s still around. This has really been the only change in my diet.

I am 21 yr old and sexually active…I was actually tested for any types of STDS about a month and a half ago and they all came back negative. And I haven’t had sex recently because I’m really self-conscious about this awkward odor.

What’s wrong with me? I read on the internet that taking probiotics could help…if this is true, what kind should I take? This is just so baffling. I'm really looking for some kind of at-home treatment for this because I try to limit the amounts of prescription drugs I take...

erotica

So I'm a 22 year old bisexual female, suffers from depression, on a basic birth control pill, and I pretty much have zero sex drive most of the time.

I've searched the tags for erotica recommendations, and have made a list, now I'm asking for some more. I'm thinking maybe erotica will help me turn myself on when my mind just won't do it for me, because the lack of sex is becoming a huge problem in my relationship. My boyfriend is pretty understanding, but sometimes he just needs to scratch that itch, and me saying no is too much, and I don't blame him. My lack of sex drive annoys me too.

So can anyone recommend some good erotic fiction? I'm probably looking more for collections of short stories than fiction that has steamy scenes. I'd like something that I can just pick up and flick through for ten or so minutes. I already own Best Lesbian Erotica 2011, and this is the kind of thing I'm looking for. I'm completely fine with buying online/from overseas also because none of the bookstores in my town carry erotic fiction (I know, I've looked), and I'm used to buying books online. I'm also completely fine with any sort of fiction recommendation, I'll take straight ones, gay ones, BDSM ones, or any other sort of thing there is out there. I'd just really like to know what you guys like to read.

Thanks for helping a girl out!

I had a pap smear a couple of days ago and the OBGYN noticed right away that I have a nabothian cyst on my cervix. "it's about the size of a pearl", she said, and "completely normal". After I got home that day I decided to try to feel it for myself and realized that for a while now, i've been thinking that this thing *is* my cervix. It's so big. Is it really normal to have one so large? Has anyone else here had a large nabothian cyst and experienced no problems with it?

I wrote this in 2009 and the nabothian cyst is still there, is this something to worry about? My OB retired recently, I last had a pap in Jan and it was normal...I'm just wondering if I should try to find an OB soon to ask about it or if it really is nothing to worry about.

So for the last week or so, I could kind of tell that my period was on its way. I felt crampy, had lower back pains, felt bloaty, etc.

Well, I finally got it last night, and it is not at all like my normal period. Typically on the first day of my normal period, it's like... blood. LOTS OF BLOOD. And when I went to change my tampon this morning, I saw a little bit of brown... stuff, and some light pink on it. I just changed my tampon again, and there's less brown and just a tiny bit of pink.

Is this normal?
