Hello!

A few years ago I inquired about the HPV Vaccine when I was in the nurse's office for a few other vaccines and she checked her chart said I was just outside of the birth-dates to qualify getting the vaccine on the NHS (i.e. free!) and that if I wanted it I'd have to go private (expensive :<)

I was talking to a friend the other day who said that they have extended the time bracket to include more people who are eligible for a free vaccination. I can't seem to find anything online, and it's something I'd still love to get if it's available to me.

So, any UK VPers who can confirm/deny this rumour for me? I'm assuming it's a no but I'd love to find out otherwise.

I was born 22/11/88.

Thanks : )

I have a yeast infection for the first time (at least I think so based on symptoms - very itchy, different smell than usual). Last night I started using the Monistat suppository & cream. This morning & just a few minutes ago, I noticed that there were a lot of bubbles in the toilet after I peed, almost like my urine is frothy. Is that normal? It doesn't hurt to pee, nor is it an unusual color. Thanks!

I have two things to ask you extremely knowledgable people. :)

Firstly, I've been having sex with my girlfriend and a strap-on. The strap on is silicone, I think. All is well, except we're having lubrication issues. I am pretty sensitive "down there" and get pretty sore and burny afterwards - which I'm guessing is due to the lube. I've been using durex lube (which is water based, I think) of some description.. I've also tried coconut oil, but she is sensitive to oil and it pretty much killed her. haha.

The other thing I wondered about is my weeing habits. I feel like I need a wee and I go to the toilet and it takes me AGES to start peeing.. Like a few minutes. This gets worse if there's anybody near (like in public bathrooms or whatever) and after sex. I'm not sure if it's psychological or not, but since I was posting here anyway I thought I'd ask your thoughts!

Thanks. :)

Okay, this is sort of a weird question and I feel a bit dumb asking it but here goes; I'm using Metrogel topically on my face (that is, not the vaginal one) and I'm on Ortho Cyclen. I asked my doctor and he said there isn't an interaction. He said there might be with the actual pill of the same medication but not the topical stuff I'm using.

I feel like it's got to be getting into my system because one of the side effects is possibly nausea. I'm a little confused about this, as I thought you had to be cautious around all antibiotics. I really can't find much online about it. I'm really paranoid and I'm wondering if anyone's used Metrogel topically or if anyone has any insight into this. Thanks!
