Hi everyone! I'm hoping you can give me a little advice. Basically, I'm late (today is day 32 of my cycle) and I want to know when to give up with the pregnancy tests and when to get my butt to the doctor to see if something else is the issue.

Hey, first time posting, I've always gotten really bad cramps on my period, but lately they've come all month long. Is this something I should be worried about?

I am 19 and in college and amazingly over the course of just a few months my breasts jumped in size from an A cup to a C cup! This was unexpected to say the least because I did not go on the pill and i have not gained any weight. So i guess i am still in puberty, huh? My breasts seemed to stop two years ago. It's funny because i always complained about wanting larger breasts, but now i just miss my A cups! It's been quite the adjustment because i am just not used to them. It's been expensive because i've had to buy new bras twice now. When i was a B cup, i did not imagine i would outgrow them so quickly. That was like a month ago.  Now i am fearing that i am STILL not done and they will get even bigger! When i see my high school friends again, they will probably assume i got  a boob job. LOL Bodies are weird!  Anyways, there is not really a question attached to this. I just wanted to share, i guess.

Before I went on HBC, I NEVER bled after sex, whether it was rough or not. Now that I'm on HBC, I can be "spotting-free" and the day after I have sex, I will start to spot and it won't stop until I get my withdrawal bleed. Could it be because my boyfriend finishes in me now? He never used to before, for obvious reasons. I'm just really confused because this has never happened to me before and it kind of affects my sex life.

Thank you!

Implanon

Hello!

I had Implanon inserted at the end of December '09.  It has been fantastic!  However, about a week and a half ago, I began itching something terrible!  I don't have any (known) allergies, but my initial thought was that I was having some sort of allergic reaction.  The next morning, my chest and arms were covered in red bumps (they looked like pimples).  The itching has lessened, but I still have these red bumps all over my arms, chest, and back.

Now, I realize that the most obvious answer is this is acne.  However, at 24, I have never had problems with acne (not even as a teen).  Would acne as a side effect of the Implanon take 3 months to set in?  What else could be going on?

I have had a copper T IUD for the last 3 years, removed in early February.  I have had two periods, the first was 2 weeks late, and now this one is running a week behind

I have had no complications during the time I had the IUD in (except for really intense bleeding during pregnancy).  My first pap after removal, there were some cervical changes, nothing to be concerned about but they want to repap me in July to make sure everything clears up.

We're talking babies now, and I'd like to get my cycle under control before we start trying (also tracking basal body temps, etc).  I got pregnant on my first try with my first tw pregnancies (the first ending in molar pregnancy) and I was pregnant with my third pregnancy (second child) after missing birth control pill by 3 hours.  I have always been very regular

Has anyone else had similar issues when IUD was removed?

Hey people! I'm posting here for a change. So, I have quite a few questions. First of all some background: I'm 22 years old and still a virgin. I have no active sex life at all.

My family doctor perscribed me the pill (diane) when I was 14 because I had intense flow during my periods. I got off it only a few months ago and in those first months my periods were always regular, always appeared on the same day. However, this month it's been a couple of days since it should have appeared and nothing. Also, I'm starting to experience PMS each month, which didn't use to happen while I was on the pill. I'm currently taking Sertraline for depression - think this could be related? I've been taking that antidepressant for over a year now, due to a bad depression I had in 08. I usually use tampons and I was kinda worried for a while that I could have forgotten one in there but I disregarded that cuz I figure if I had, I'd be doubled over in pain by now (if leaving a bit of the plastic there is uncomfortable like hell, I wonder what a whole tampon feels like...)

Also, I read in the leaflet that comes with the pill that it's unadvisable for people with cancer historial in the family to take the pill. I took it for eight years and my mom died of cancer when I was a child - do you think it could have been bad for me? Not that I have noticed anything out of ordinary with my breasts or period besides what I told you. Also, could you point me out some vitamins that can help you with PMS during that week? It doesn't have to be something strong since I'm on Sertraline too. Just, somedays I feel like crawling up the walls or just drown myself. I hate this =_=

Thanks in advance for any help!

I hope someone can help me out or calm me down because I'm really worried about this after Googling "very light periods"...oops :(

I have lots of cysts on my ovaries but have not been diagnosed with PCOS as I do not have any of the other symptoms (acne, weight gain, facial hair, etc). My period "cycle" varies from 6 months apart to 28 days apart. I just finished a period last week but it was very, very light...so light that I could have easily worn a pantyliner and would have only needed to change it once a day, if that. This "bleeding" lasted for 5 days.

Before finding out I had cysts on my ovaries, my periods were always irregular, but would be light for the first day, two heavy days, then two light days. But there was nothing to this period, not even the womb lining chunks that I'd expect to see.

So, googling "very light period" came up with results indicating pregnancy? I am sexually active and not on the pill (use condoms instead) but there haven't been any "accidents"...can anyone offer advice? I don't really know much about PCO as it is, my doctor was quite unhelpful...maybe this is to be expected??

I am fairly certain I have a yeast infection.

Last night, my boyfriend said his fingers were burning after he fingered me. Uh, is that common with a YI?

I have an appointment on Thursday, but just wanted to see if any ladies have burned their significant others or their own fingers this way?

Hello everyone - this is more of an anxious "what should I expect post" more than anything else. I've been experiencing some itching around the vaginal area, and am going to do a 'walk in' to my university health service center tomorrow morning and ask if I have a yeast infection (my boyfriend thinks he may have passed it on to me), or whatever else might be the problem. The thing is I'm pretty nervous about being so exposed to any of the nurse practitioners or physician's assistants - I've gone previously before for a uti, but that just requires a urine sample and a quick antibiotic prescription. So the question is: What should I expect tomorrow when I go in? What are your experiences with getting checked for a possible YI, and what procedures did your health professional use? Any soothing words of advice to get over this anxiousness? ): Thank you.
