hello. im dystatic. i just joined. i got here from the user info of pifflegrrrl.
i figure this might be a good place to rant. im not sure if any of you might be able to give me advice, but who knows.
on friday i went for a diagnostic laproscopy (gyno stuff not abdominal) and a hymenectomy
the second part is whats bugging me most. things down there get really uncomfortable. and then twice today ive started bleeding for short periods of times, but relatively large amounts of blood. im not sure if thats normal after the procceedure? or not.
im sore still (from the surgery) so its not like i can get a good look down there. i had a hymenal band and it appears to have been snipped and both ends appear white? (coderized or something like that? i dont know)
at this point im not horribly worried or anything, its just things down there are quite uncomfortable at times (like something is poking me) and the random bleeding kinda bothers me.
theres not a lot of info online about hymenectomys cause theyre apparantly not that common. and i just need to vent a bit. today while writing in my journal i was thinking, no one wants to hear about my genitals? and not that that stops me, but perhaps this place might be a little more supportive than the general population.

A certain amount of bleeding is normal after a hymenectomy... you've just had your cherry popped, after all... but if it becomes excessive, see your doc again!

i found that pamphlet they gave me after
well they gave it to my mom, anesthetic made me sick so i was rather out of it after the surgery
and it says bleeding is normal for up to 7 days
im sure a few weeks down the road ill be fine and its probably good i had this done now rather than later on down the road

Don't worry about venting about your vagina here. :) If we didn't want to hear about girl's problems with their supah sexy pussies, we wouldn't be here! So go ahead and vent, and talk about what's goin' on with you down there, and we'll all be there for you!
