Okay so my partner and I have been having a lot of sex in like the past week or so, and well some like bumps or something have shown up on his dick.
Some of them are around the hair and such but not all of them.
Little red bumps.

We are both STD free. So that's not it, I was just wondering what was up.
Any ideas?

I remember reading another entry a while back about grapefruit compromising the effects of hormonal BC, and there are two huge, beautiful grapefruits sitting on my kitchen table. T_T
I WANT THEM.
Does anyone have any reputable articles about this? I'm just dying for this to be untrue, or for it to take gallons of grapefruit juice to have an impact. Damn science, leave me and my grapefruit alone!

dryness... pregnancy?

ok for all of the lovely VPers here who have had the pleasure of being pregnant, i have some questions
because im paranoid

the last 2 times i have had sex (last night and the night before) i wasnt very wet at all... i was completely into it, and i had multiple orgasms
iv also had a very funny stomach for the past 4 days, usually lasting from the time i wake up until like 6 at night. i havent had anything occur from it, but i feel like im going to have diarrhea... but nothing ever happens

I am on try-cyclin HBC. i took it about 7 hours late on tuesday. but me and my boyfriend also use 'pulling out' as some extra protection along with HBC which other then that day, i always take it within 10mins of the same time every day
this sunday i will start my placebo pills and have my period on tuesday (...hopefully)

but there is always the chance that some sperm got in whether through pre-ejaculate or if i wiped his cum off of me (like 1/4 of the time he cums on me, 3/4 of the time i give him oral to finish) and i then whiped myself with the same towel

so my question is... is dryness something that can happen if you are pregnant? and how soon did you notice nausea when you got pregnant?

2 week late period, please help!

My period is a little over 2 weeks late and I am absolutely freaking out!

My last period was 2/9/09 and I had unprotected sex (Withdrawl method) on 2/14/09 and 2/28/09. He didn't ejaculate in me and pulled out way in advance on 2/14 and on 2/28 we stopped before he even came.

For the last year and few months my periods have been absolutely irregular. They go anywhere between 30-35 days. And about 3 times in the past year, my periods have been a week to two late.

I'm just so scared because I did have unprotected sex this month. But I was reading old posts here where people say withdrawl is actually pretty effective.

I'm not experiencing any nausea, not urinating more, nothing of that sort. The only concern I have is I have blue veins around and thru my nipples. But when my period was late before and I thought I was pregnant, I also had this symptom.

I also feel as if my period is coming on very soon - since Monday I have been experiencing breast pain and my face broke out just as it usually does right before my period.

My cervix is also low and hard.

I'm 22 years old. I also was stressed throughout the month and have been unbelieveable stressed the past 2 weeks due to this. I also had been drinking a lot of diet pepsi (about half a 2 liter a day) and stopped because I thought it may of been the caffeine or aspartame. Also, I was taking a lot of tylenol due to my arthritis pain.

I know the easy answer would be to take a test, but I'm absolutely terrified right now. Please understand =)

I just would like to know everyone's inputs based on the dates of my last period and sex, and symptoms i'm experience.

I've never queefed before in my life, but all the sudden this week during sex it's happened like ten times. We haven't changed our sexual patterns at all. I'm wondering why all the sudden this is happening? It's not something I'm worried about, I'm just curious.

Also, how do you all deal with it when it happens? The first time, my boyfriend was all weirdabout it but we laugh it off now. It's just such an awkward thing when you're trying to be sexy. =P

Yesterday, I noticed I bled a little. I am kind of in the middle of my cycle and this is not a normal thing for me. I have never bled between periods before in my life. I read up on all the things that can sometimes cause this, and the first one listed on most sites is various girly cancers. I know it seems dramatic to freak out, but when I was 19 and 20, I had abnormal pap smears and had to be re-examined (so I had four exams in two years as opposed to the regular one a year). The doctors told me it wasn't necessarily bad, and the follow ups were both ok. However, they requested I see one of the top cancer guys in America at the time (I lived in Augusta and got seen at MCG) which did not make me feel much better.

I can't go to a doctor until I get a new schedule at work, but I am really scared. Is there anything you can tell me that might be helpful until then? Googling "bleeding between periods + history of abnormal paps" isn't giving me much and I want more in depth info than SEE YOUR DOCTOR (no kidding?!). Thanks a ton, guys.

Mirena + HBC pills?

Hey everyone,

I have had a Mirena IUD since June (08).  I went on the Mirena because I was tired of all the other HBC methods I had tried and thought less hormones would be better for me (I did not get a copper IUD because my periods were so heavy and painful already).  Since I have had the IUD, my skin has been awful (nothing clears it up... I should note that my skin is fine when I am not on any form of HBC) and I have been getting two (light) periods a month.  I gained weight too, but that might be from graduate school!  The periods themselves do not bother me, but I definitely have ALL of the PMDD symptoms and having them for 2/4 weeks a month is putting a strain on me.  I have tried improving my diet and exercising but the hormonal ups and downs are frusturating.  I would really like to go back on Yaz (it was the only pill that I liked, but it did cause me to have migraines whenever I consumed caffeine).  I really want to make sure YAZ works out before removing the IUD, so is it okay to use both for a period of time?  I know everyone seems to love their Mirena IUDS, but has anyone else had a similar experience?

Dr. also mentioned that since I've had such a long period (3 weeks now) that the whole thing is probably anovular bleeding. I like to think that I ovulated at some point, but other than charting/temp/cervical mucus, there isn't a way to tell is there?

Stacking Pills Causing Late Period

I've been stacking my pills for about 4 months now. This month, with little success, I decided to get my period. It hasn't come. I FEEL like it's coming, but no blood. I'm supposed to start taking my active pills tomorrow. Has anyone else had this happen?

I'm not usually late...but then again I don't usually stack this long. Aaah the joys of BC.

I'm 33 and have had regular periods since 13. I have middleschmertz and so am generally aware of my ovulation.

My periods are normally 25-28 days apart.

I started my 2nd most recent period March 2nd (Monday).

On the 11th (the next Wednesday), our condom broke. My partner noticed it before he ejaculated, we switched for a new one and continued. I figured I was safe and did not take the morning after pill since it makes me feel sick.

On the 16th (the following Monday) it seemed that I ovulated.

On Saturday the 21st I started what seemed to be my period. This was 19 days from the first day of the last period. Very unusual for me.

It lasted for only four days and was light. It began as creamy and the color of a peach crayon and later was red but very watery and dark brown and thick (still light) at the end as normal.

I took a pregnancy test yesterday (Tuesday the 24th) and the result was negative. I have been having headaches and have a slight temperature. I'm constipated and exhausted. Am I just freaking myself out?

If my period was early (why it would be, I do not know) then it would be lighter. Right or wrong?

If it was implantation bleeding, the pregnancy test would likely have been positive. Right or wrong?

I see no tags for implantation bleeding and would be very interested to know what any of you have experienced as far as that goes.

I appreciate any advice, VaginaPagina-ers. I'm glad to be a part of this community and that you're here.

Early period on HBC?

I'm on Marvelon, which is monophasic, and I usually stack my pills since I get wicked cramps. I've stacked my last two packs and have about 6 days left in my current pack. I accidentally missed a pill last night.

There's a chance I may end up having sex next weekend, when I'm scheduled to have my period. Since I'd rather not have period sex, would there be any harm in having my period earlier than scheduled, so to speak, by not taking the rest of the pills?

And should I, after the pill-less week is done, take the remaining 6 pills in the pack, or just go to a new pack?

Stressed-delayed period or pregnancy scare?

I just would like some input on what you guys think about my situation. I had a tonsillectomy back in early March and was put on antibiotics. About 2 weeks ago I had sex and the SO came inside of me without warning. I take my HBC at the same time every day. I'm on my placebo week right now..and I usually always get my period on the Thursday or Friday of the week. It's Thursday, and still no period. I like..pray for signs every time I use the restroom..and I thought I saw remanence..but nothing major so far. I feel like I have cramps..but I'm afraid it might be gas. I'm also SUPER stressed over school..semester is ending..so maybe thats affecting it..

Argh..I'm just so paranoid. I've never had a problem with HBC and antibiotics before. Should I just take a chill pill and wait and see what happens? Oi..this is not fun.
