Finding cervix

Hi everyone,
I recently got off the Pill. The first day of my last period was October 9th, and I think it lasted about a week or so. I've been told that it's normal for cycles to be erratic after going off HBC. But my question has to do with finding my cervix, which I'd never tried before until today. I feel like this is a stupid question, but I can't find it! I've put my middle and index fingers in as far as they go, and everything feels the same. I guess spongy is the right word, and I can't really distinguish a cervix like people said I would. The reason I was curious to feel it is because I've read that it feels different during the various parts of your cycle, and I have no idea where I am in my cycle right now as this is my first time being off the pill in a while. I also had some brown discharge earlier today, which I thought could possibly be the start of my period but it doesn't look like it so far.
Could I be reaching past my cervix and just missing it? Is that even possible? I mean I know I have one! And now that I've been feeling around there for about 5 or 10 minutes, I'm starting to feel crampy down there. Where is my cervix? Help!

Should I Stop Using my Nuvaring?

Alright, ladies and gents, I've got a bit of a conundrum.
I'm on Nuvaring and I've been on it since... I don't know, at least 5-6 months, so it's had time to become acquainted with my body. I love the convenience factor, but otherwise, it pretty well sucks for me. I read a post a while back about NR causing all these symptoms for one Superstar and I'm currently getting some of the ones that were listed, but I don't know if it's from the NR or from Final-Exam End-Of-Semester Stress.
( Background Information and Symptoms )So basically... should I quit NR, or is most of this just in my head? If I quit NR, I don't exactly want to go back to pills again, I'm not sure what I should go with. Any advice is appreciated.

My OBGYN prescribed me one vaginal application (gel) for treatment of BV. Problem is, not sure when it would be best to use.
My symptoms are at it's worst during ovulation (increase of discharge, etc.). I'm due for my period within the next few days, and my symptoms are pretty much non-existent at this point.
Just wondering when I should use the gel/when it would be most effective. Right after my period? When I ovulate?
Many thanks ☺
(P.S. Curious; has VP thought of registering for a Twitter account?)

normally since i started taking the pill my period comes at exactly 11 on a sunday morning every 4th sunday. It is amazingly accurate and makes my life so much easier!
anyway... my period came at 11.30 on saturday night.. not a big switch i know but just wondering...
this week i did take a pill 12 hours late by accident could this be the cause of the cycle switch?
and will my cycle go back to its normal sunday at 11 if i take my pill correctly this month??

This study is only done with about a hundred women, which is not nearly enough to give conclusive results, but it is suggestive. Does anyone else know of any similar studies? I'd like to see more research done on this and other subtle emotional, mental, and psychological side-effects of hormonal birth control.
late period q

Hello! I've checked the vulvapedia and have had no luck in finding the answer to my question.
My periods are ALWAYS regular. I am a couple of days late for my period and I am stressing out. Primarily, because my boyfriend and I have been sexually active (for the first time in our lives) for just over a month. I have been perscribed hormonal birth control and I am waiting to start it, however my doctor advised me to start it on the FIRST day of my period. Which hasn't come yet. My concern is that using condoms alone (which is what we've been doing for the last month) isn't cutting it. We found that a couple of times after having sex, his semen would actually leak out the bottom of the condom. I could also just been freaking out for no reason and my period is just late because I am also stressed to the max because of my university mid-term exams.
So my question is..
When a period is late, how late should be it for one to justifiably be worried?

I had my DD on May 8th and I haven't had a period since then. Not on BC and she is formula fed. I have taken numerous pregnancy tests that have all turned up negative. Any ideas on what could be going on?

And I am still really red and raw, just wondering what could help with that? I am eating some yogurou t tonight, and hoping it will clear soon, and wondering if anyone has ever use the vagisil screening kits? And if you had trich would you know it? I read all this stuff and it makes me worry like crazy, i am married and neither one of us have had sex but with each other.. And w.e have been together for 3yrs. Also none of this started till I took the antibiotic amoxicillin, after that I statred having this trouble, so more than like it is a YI right?
