Alright, ladies and gents, I've got a bit of a conundrum.
I'm on Nuvaring and I've been on it since... I don't know, at least 5-6 months, so it's had time to become acquainted with my body. I love the convenience factor, but otherwise, it pretty well sucks for me. I read a post a while back about NR causing all these symptoms for one Superstar and I'm currently getting some of the ones that were listed, but I don't know if it's from the NR or from Final-Exam End-Of-Semester Stress.
Background Info:
I'm a 21 year old college student and I've been on HBC since I was about 14. Ortho-Tri-Cyclen and Trinessa and now NR. I've been on NR for about 5-6 months, I think. I've had my period since I was 12. I stopped using tampons after I got my NR because I noticed I was more irritated and it was more painful (albeit not very much) to insert and remove them. So, I'm using strictly Always Infinicel Pads (They're amazing, by the way.) I don't smoke (except maybe once every two months or less) and I rarely drink (again, once every two months or less). My diet is not healthy (And hasn't been all my life, it's not just recent that I eat a lot of junk food) and I don't exercise (Unless you count walking my dog). Neither of which have ever really been a factor before. I have no known allergies to anything in NR (I don't think), the only thing I'm allergic to is Sulfa.
Symptoms That May or May Not Be From The NR:

Symptoms That May or May Not Be From The NR:
- Nausea - This can also be attributed to not eating breakfast and going to class (It happens more after the time change)
- Headaches - Could also be attributed to allergies (They've only recently started occuring frequently within the last month, however) or staring at the computer screen (which I still do the same amount of) or me needing new glasses/contacts (don't think I do... just got these a year or so ago.)
- Fatigue - Could also be attributed to stress over exams and general school stuff. I'm always tired, recently.
- Dull Ache in Left Arm - This has begun happening probably within the last two weeks. It's around my Bicep and it just sort of aches. There's nothing exercize-ish that could cause it, the only thing that may be causing it is the fact that I play Warcraft a lot.
- Decreased Libido - I have NO sex drive anymore. My fiancee and I used to fuck like rabbits when we saw each other (LDR). I used to masturbate loads and I have mastubated once in probably four months.
- Decreased Lubrication - I get drier during sex, which I've never had a problem with before I started NR. I also can't tell that I'm wet, like I used to be able to, even when my boyfriend will be fingering my vag and say I'm soaked. I can't tell.
- Wacky Emotions - Last period during my PMS time, I got excessively angry and emotional. I litterally wanted to punch things and I get more irritated at the little things (could also be attributed to stress). I've never been a very emotional person, I tend to keep things inside and my emotions are just going crazy.
- Constipation - I've been constipated a bit for the last month or so... this could also be attributed to my diet, which isn't well balanced.
- Burning - After I have sex, it burns around the entrance to my vagina if I leave the ring in... if I take it out, the burning only occurs if I pee soon after sex. It also occurs when I place the ring back into my Vag after having sex, whether it's 2 minutes after or up to 15 minutes after.
- Growing Breasts- Well, it appears that my D's are attempting to grow... they're not staying in my Calcique bras anymore which have fit fantastically since I was sized for them.
- Shortness of Breath - I get tired walking up and down the three flights of stairs at my apartment complex, but I find myself more winded than normal. I don't exercize, but I take my dog out multiple times a day... sometimes when I'm just sitting or talking I find myself short of breath.
- Period Cramps (ETA) - I've never really cramped before... and now that I'm on NR... my Uterus says hello every chance it gets.
