Okay what if you were friends with a guy that was having lots of trouble in his life , was depress that he just turn 29 never had more then two girlfriends in his life and was still a virgin. What if one night you two had spend the whole night tegether while drinking listning to him talk about problem sand decided to have pity sex with him to ease his pain of never having a sex before. After it was all done you tell him that it was nice but was never going to happen again, it just a one tiime thing and thought that everthing was great between you to. Well the next dat you get weird text message and phone call form the guy wanted to know what you are doing, do you want to hang out with him at first you think it sweet but decline the offer.

When you hang out around friends he wants to be all touching feeling with you, ask you about what your thinking about and keep on bugging you to go on a date with him. Then after awhile he starts telling people that you two are dating each other and mailing gifts to you. It been going on for two weeks and you try to give the guy a hint that your not interested in him like that and that it was just a one time thing. But he refuse to accept that as a answer been trying harder to win you over with buying you jewelry, but still tell him nicely that you can't accept them.

Well now you are in a relationship with somebody and he still hoping to win you over and it starting to scare you alittle that he stole a picture from your apartment when you had last a group of friends over and he was there. But you didn't find that out until today.People tell you to call the cops on him, but you tell them that he not a threat to you and it will go away eventaully.

I just need to find a way to tell him bluntly and harshly, while beeing being alittle nice to him that he driving me crazy with what he doing to win my affection and I'm in a relationship. But I'm trying to write down what to say to him to make my point clrear to him that I'm not interested in him and just want to be friends.

Thanks

Also is there a way to stop heavy menstrual bleeding from leaking on you bedsheet even if you do wear a pad and extra layers of underwear to try to stop it. This is my first time I had this and my poor bed sheet are getting soak mostly every night.

Ugh. I figured out on Wednesday that I have a YI. I picked up the one day Monistat, since I was going on a mini-vacation Wed/Thurs/Today, and I didn't really want to be treating it at my friend's house. The sensitive, swollen inner labia cleared up right away, and was better by Thursday morning. My lady bits continued to be quite dry, but that was fine. Thursday night, I noticed that I had some tiny cuts. I remember that this is a typical symptom of YIs, but what should I do? Should I do another monistat-type treatment? Or is it likely that this is going to clear up on its own, since I've already done a treatment?

Hello VPers, new and old alike!

From time to time, we (the VP Team, your friendly community maintainers) make a post about VP's rules, resources, and other fun stuff. It's meant to be a refresher for veteran VPers, and an introduction for those new to the community who may not yet be fully acquainted with the ins and outs of VP.

The Basics
  • The VP FAQ, which, as the title suggests, covers the most frequently asked questions about VP, is a great place to start!
  • Next stop: the official VP Rules, which are also pretty important since they're a bit different than the rules of most other LJ communities.
  • Finally, the Courtesy Checklist for Posting, which we recommend reading before posting in VP -- we've recently updated it with some suggestions on inclusive word choice. (Regarding word choice and inclusion, we also want to take this opportunity to publicly thank all of the members who have been instrumental in bringing about positive change in this area. We've seen many, many instances of members educating other members, and of VPers consciously choosing to use greetings that are inclusive, and we love that -- thank you for making it happen, and keep up the good work!)
Other Awesome Stuff
Finally, as you may or may not know, you can always get in touch with us in a couple of ways: privately, via email, or publicly, in [livejournal.com profile] contact_vp. We're always happy to hear from members!

Happy VPing,

Jocey

Just joined this community, you seem wicked awesome and helpful.

So, this has been a problem for a while. I found that whenever I've been sitting for a while with my legs crossed, or kept close together, it gets kind of smelly and stale-smelling down there. My underwear/jeans will smell weird. Like, I can smell it in class/wherever.

I always wash that area when I shower, and I change my underwear every day. Is it because my thighs are so clenched and it's not getting enough air circulation? I think about sex a lot, so I'm wet down there a lot too, if that makes a difference. There is no weird clotting, and it doesn't smell like anything other than my vagina, but I've become self conscious of it. I'm afraid others can smell it too. Maybe it is my diet? (I drink a lot of coffee, and eat tons of cheese/dairy).

Do any of you notice this too? Any suggestions?

I'm going abroad for the first time ever on Thursday and as we're only going for a couple of days, we're going hand luggage only.

Will I be ok taking my BC pill in the luggage, or is it a banned item?

I know a lot of things are dependent on the airline, but there's no mention of pills, only about liquid medicine on the website. To be safe, I'd rather not take it but I'm half way through a pack and I don't want to upset the whole cycle.

Thanks!

Hello there!
I've been reading various articles and snooping all over VagPag but to no avail.
Help?

I've been taking Yasmin for somewhere in four months now. I've been very happy with both it's effectiveness and the way it's worked with my body (lighter periods, manageable cramps, cleared up my skin, mood swings are kept at bay for the most part, very little weight gain, etc). However there is one thing that's been nagging at me recently. Specifically over the last 2 months or so.

Normally, I'm a bit of a space cadet. But these past 2 months I've been experiencing lapses in memory and very persistent forgetfulness, almost to the point of black-outs. I mean, short-term memory is out of the question, very impaired. Long term tends to be a bit better, but even then it's pretty sketchy. My boyfriend (who lives with me 5 days a week) has noticed it as well and mentioned it to me because on quite a few occasions because it's caused problems in other areas of my (and his) life.

Is this a common, even rare or any kind of side effect of birth control?
I have been under an abnormal amount of stress recently (ending bad long-term friendships left and right, moving, quit my job and starting college in the span of three months) but I've been dealing with it quite gracefully if I do say so myself!
I also have a history of bipolar disorder and have been on medication for it in the past. I am not taking anything for it now, the last time was approximately two years ago: Effexor.
I don't drink, although I do smoke pot recreationally. Maybe 3-4 times a week and I never actually get "stoned" anyway. It's more like two or three puffs and that's it, just to wind down at the end of the day.
My diet has been suffering a bit and my sleeping patterns have been off due to stress, but it's nothing that I haven't done in the past.
I also have a history of Alzheimer's in my family, but I'm only 21. So unless it's VERY early onset...

Anyway, I'd really appreciate some help with this. If these memory lapses are due to Yasmin, as much as I love what its done for me up until now, I'll need to change HBC before I start school. I can't imagine how I could deal with class schedules, studying and even just basic learning with my memory being so bad.

Thanks in advance for any responses.

The other day I was out with some friends, and one guy was talking about how someone he knew someone who didn't want to use the pill, who believed life started at conception, and his doctor told him that there is a tiny tiny chance of the egg being fertilized and the pill killing it, instead of just preventing fertilization. I've...never heard this, and I was wondering if anyone knew anything about that or had any resources on it?

Thanks!

I'm posting this for a friend of mine because she doesn't have a livejournal.

In August she went to the ER in excruciating pain. At that time, she was diagnosed with a ruptured ovarian cyst. They didn't really tell her anything but that.

Last night she went back to the ER and had the same diagnosis--Ruptured ovarian cyst.

We've looked into PCOS thinking that might be why she's having these cyst problems, but she doesn't match a lot of the symptoms of PCOS. So I'm asking you vagpag ladies, what are other syndromes/diseases/disorders that can cause cyst problems?

Our PP is open on the 1st and 3rd Saturday of every month, and that's usually when I go to get my Nuvaring since I work and go to school during the week.
Well, November sucks and I miscalculated and there was an extra weekend this month so when I drove up to PP they were closed :(

I'm scheduled to put in my NR tomorrow (Sunday) and now I'm not sure what to do. Do I have any options, other than just waiting until they are open again?

Thanks.

It says I need to wash them in hot water a few times to make them absorbent. I have a problem with that because I don't wash clothes in hot water, only warm. Would it be better to boil the pads in a pan?

Possibly TMI, but sometimes when I'm peeing it'll come out under quite high pressure, almost like a pressure washer! Makes a really loud gushing sound in the bowl. I'm sure quite a few of you will know what I mean, anyway!

This usually happens first thing in the morning and lately I've noticed that I pee in 'spurts'. Almost like there's air bubbles in there which interrupt the flow then start it again (akin to air bubbles in a hosepipe). Now because of the pressure I'm peeing with, these spurts can be mildly uncomfortable.

I've only just noticed this happening on a regular basis (the high pressure peeing and the spurts) so basically this is an 'am I normal? Should I go to my doctor?' question.

Thanks!
