I'm slightly more paranoid than normal, because my aunt recently became pregnant using birth-control pills (human error: she missed a couple of them and decided to have sex anyways.) So my mom is really paranoid about everything recently, esp. when it comes to me and having sex.

I take Loestrin 24 Fe and have for the past three months. It is a 24/4 combination. Sadly, I forgot to call it in, twice. I finally got it Tuesday, took 2 pills that night, and 2 pills on Wednesday, so I'm caught up tonight. My only question is about whether or not I need back-up contraception, since technically I took a placebo period of 6 days instead of 4. BUT, having taken 24 active pills perfectly during the month, I would be technically covered for 7 days, right?

Someone help me sort this out please. Condoms and I don't get along (I know about other contraceptive methods, this is just the easiest and most readily available to use).

I have my period and I just passed what was like.. a chunk of flesh, in my period.
I had a tampon in too, which was "soaked through" at the time, but I still don't know how it got out of there.
is this normal? has it ever happened to anyone else? by "chunk of flesh" I don't mean glob of blood, but a giant piece of skin-like material that was solid. in fact, it appeared to be white (what wasn't covered in blood). it was like... 1"
I know the uterus sheds its "lining" but if a layer of skin comes off every month isn't that a bit extreme?

I skipped my period last month with BC. could this have anything to do with it?
should I maybe not be using tampons this time around if chunks of stuff are stuck in there?

so yeah, am I dying? this has never happened before.

The other day,  I noticed a bump, smaller than a marble, in the inner vulva/labia. It didn't hurt if I touched or squeezed it. There is only one, though. It kinda itches but it's tolerable. It's also flesh colured.

The soonest I can go to an OBGYN is early next month. So, any ideas?

My husband and I are trying to conceive right now... this is our first month at it, so I don't really know much about what's going on.
I ovulated on the 7th of April and we had sex on the 3rd, 5th and 7th.
My period is supposed to start this coming Monday.  It has NEVER been more than one day late or early... but today I started bleeding.  What is going on?  Could it be implantation bleeding?  Or is it just my period starting early?
The blood I am getting doesn't really look like my period blood normally does.  Usually the blood from my period is very dark and thick, but this blood is a brighter red (as opposed to the burgundy-ish color i get on my period) and it is sticky/mucusy.  The bleeding is very, very light and I just generally don't feel like I'm on my period (no cramps, no bloating, etc). Does this mean something?

so..this may sound a bit weird but,

sometimes it feels like my vagina is vibrating, almost like it is shivering.

any idea what causes this? does it have something to do with bloodflow to the area? it's just a weird thing that has been happening to me since 6th grade, i'm 23 now..so that is over 10 years. i am perfectly healthy otherwise, but i was just wondering if this happens to anyone else? it gets kind of annoying sometimes.

thanks! =]

I originally posted here.

My period started on Tuesday (as there is normally a 2-day lag for me on BCP; I'm a Sunday starter), and...now it's Friday. My right breast, generally speaking, has been pretty soft and nice. It feels fine all around.

But, I'm still having problems with my left breast. It doesn't seem to be much affected by the arrival of my period. It seems I still have this hard spot on the top left (me looking down) part. A little below it and in a ... curved line underneath the nipple, it feels kind of bloated or something. The hard spot also occasionally changes in hardness, but that one area feels firmer than the rest of my breast.

I'm probably going to end up calling PlannedParenthood tomorrow to make an appointment because this is really starting to worry me. Chances are it isn't deadly, but I'm so scared it might be. :(
